On UTC December 6th, 2016, at 9:00 an update was released.
If the game doesn’t have the newest data it won’t run properly.
If you were playing at the time of release, please go back to the title screen to update the game.


New Features

Added a new game mode–the Infinite Dungeon.
A fun new dungeon with randomized levels (called “zones”) that offers great replay value! Keep your eyes peeled for those vital awakeners and high-powered equipment items. The lower zones are available right now, and new zones are coming with future updates. We hope you enjoy them!

The Season 1 story has ended!
Chapter 9 and part of Chapter 10 have been added, and the Dr. Rarehead arc has concluded, drawing Season 1 to a close. But fear not–the story will continue!

Added the “Awaken Items” feature.
Certain max-level equipment items can be upgraded using special “awakener” items.

Added an option to turn offline mode on and off.
An option to turn offline mode on and off is now available. This is to ensure you can still start a game even when network problems are stopping you from playing. We recommend using this feature if you are having difficulty starting a game from the Lobby.
Added new Achievements.
10 Achievements, total 250 Gamerscore are added.
Added a beat that rises in intensity as Rage increases.

Changes to User Interface & Game System

Lowered enemy HP boosts during multiplayer, making it easier to play with friends.
Fixed the bug that caused the character on the continue screen to display in the wrong position.
A special effect will trigger when you enter the last gate to complete a mission.
The numbers on skill icons for skills with no level will no longer appear.
Your character will now speak when you decide to continue from the continue screen.
The HP and AP bars now display percentages.
An effect will display on the HP and AP bars when you recover HP and AP.
Reduced the font size for the zone and floor displays.
We have changed the name of the “Character Menu” to “Character Settings”.
We have changed the name of the “Item Menu” to “Smithy”.
We have changed the name of the “Minion Menu” to “Minion Lab”.
Simplified the menu showing co-op partners’ results to make story dungeons progress more smoothly.
Fixed nicknames in the credits.

Changes to Items, Minions & Enemies

Added equipment items that can only be used as awakeners.

Added the equipment items “Rare Weight 8″, “Rare Weight 9″, “Epic Weight 9″, “Epic Weight 10″ to drop items. These items can be obtained in the Infinite Dungeon.

Due to high weight items being added to the drop items, some rare items can no longer be sold in exchange for rare metals.
Increased the attack stat of all warrior class weapons.
Added new items to correspond with the “Awaken Items” feature.
Adjusted some minion personalities so they stay closer to your character.
Increased the number of Soma items you can carry, such as Miracle Soma.
The HP balance for all enemies has been adjusted, boosting HP for enemies around Lv.20, and lowering HP for enemies around Lv.50.
Adjusted the following warrior equipment items:
・Battle Katana (Epic): Attack and magic attack increased
・Ancient Sword (Epic): Changed “Anti-Guard Attack Up Lv.2” to “Guard Attack Up Lv.3”; attack increased
Bahamut Sword (Epic): Attack increased
・Celestial Sword (Epic): Adjusted to be an attack-oriented weapon
・Demon Samurai Helm (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify Attack” to “Intensify Attack Lv.2”
・Atlantis Helm (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify Magic Defense” to “Intensify Magic Defense Lv.2”
・Unicorn Horn (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify HP” to “Intensify HP Lv.2”
・Griffin Head (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify AP” to “Intensify AP Lv.2”
・Space Commando Helm (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify Magic Defense” to “Intensify Magic Defense Lv.2”
・Plasma Barrier (Epic): Added a visual effect to the barrier
The following cleric equipment items have been adjusted:
・Fresh Lemon Mace (Rare): Changed the fixed buff “HP & AP Limit Up Lv.5” to “Skill: Soothing Bullet”
・Green Heart Mace (Epic): Increased attack and magic attack
・Iron Crawler (Epic): Adjusted to be an attack-oriented weapon
・Mace of Gears (Epic): Increased attack
・Golden Crown (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify HP” to “Intensify HP Lv.2”
・Devil’s Horn (Epic)”: Changed the fixed buff “Intensify Attack” to “Intensify Attack Lv.2”
・Atlantis Hood (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify Magic Defense” to “Intensify Magic Defense Lv.2”
The following mage equipment items have been adjusted:
・Great Eagle Staff (Epic): Increased attack
・Grim Reaper’s Staff (Epic): Greatly increased attack; increased magic attack
・Garuda Stick (Epic): Increased magic attack
・Nightmare Hat (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify AP” to “Intensify AP Lv.2”; changed the fixed buff “Intensify Magic Attack” to “Intensify Magic Attack Lv.2”
・Grim Reaper’s Mask (Epic): Changed the fixed buff “Intensify Attack” to “Intensify Attack Lv.2”
・Winged Beast Circlet (Epic): Changed fixed buff “Intensify Magic Attack” to “Intensify Magic Attack Lv.2”
・Dragon God’s Horn (Epic): Changed fixed buff “AP Recovery Speed Up Lv.2” to “Fear Rate Down Lv.3”
Fixed bug where the Minion action skill “Inflation” would activate even when activation conditions had not been satisfied.
Fixed the issue where the Minion leadership skill “Concentration” would restore an abnormally large amount of AP.

Changes to Character Class Balance

Adjusted the balance to ensure all character classes can enjoy battles equally.Greatly increased the damage warriors and clerics can cause.
Reduced the AP requirements for all skills and reduced cool-down time, making the game easier and more fun to play.
Close-range skills now give a boost to defense and magic defense while in use, making it harder to get hit with status ailments.
The affected skills are:
Warriors:Bash, Rush, Spinning Blade, Charged Attack, Shield Break, Falcon Counter, Bleeding Gale Fang, Comet Punisher, Rocketman, Roar, Shield Charge, Ninja Sprint, Beast Jet
Clerics: Saintly Vacuum, Surprise Slam (Lv.2 or above), Holy Ball (Lv.2 or above), Justice Swing, Thor’s Wrath
Mages: Evade, Thunder Drill
Extended the invincibility period after reviving from a KO, meaning you cannot be KO’ed immediately after you are revived.
Slightly reduced the damage warriors and clerics receive when guarding.
Very slightly increased AP recovery speed for warriors and clerics.
Reduced the charge time for the warrior skill “Shield Charge.”
Slightly increased the distance of the warrior skill “Roll.”
Greatly increased the damage from the cleric’s final strike in a normal attack sequence.
Increased the power of the mage skill “Rapid Shot.”
Extended the invincibility period of the powerful “Megian Gartona” tool series.
Added invincibility to enemy-specific spears (Goblin Bane, Undead Killer, Brute Buster, etc.) until the weapon is thrown.
Adjusted the camera so it moves upwards upon contact with a wall.
Cleric skill: Wall – Fixed the issue where weapons and skills would pass through if they were close to the character.
Warrior skill: Master Shield Break – Increased the damage dealt to destructible objects and adjusted the skill’s effect.
Mage Magic Shot: Thunderbolt – Fixed the issue where targeting would prioritize objects behind the player or obstacles over enemies even when the enemies were in range.

Changes to Game Modes & Menus

Added new customization parts to the shop.
You may now select item quantity in the Item Shop and Rare Metal Shop.

Changes to Buffs

-Introduced levels for buffs that boost stats, such as “Intensify Attack.” The previous versions of these buffs are the equivalent of Lv.1.
Greatly raised the damage boost rate of “Anti-Guard Attack Up.”
Greatly raised the activation rate for “Smash Effect.”
Added many new buff types. These will first appear as fixed buffs on items and awakener items.
Added fixed buffs to indicate items that have special uses.

Changes to Sound

Improvements to the sound effects for certain enemies (Fat Zombie, Goblin Boss), certain skills (Beast Jet, Beast Hex, Psychic Bolt), and when opening Happy Cards.
Improvements to the music for the menus, the title screen, and the Happy Cards screen.
Improvements to the music quality when Singy appears.
Added five new songs.
The in-game battle music now consists of three new songs.
Added environmental sound effects to each stage.

Bug Fixes

Certain items that could be sold for very high prices and many rare metals have been adjusted accordingly.
The mage skill “Raging Blaze” now has the correct power parameter.
Happy Star drop rates no longer vary according to the Story Dungeon quest being played. They will now drop based on a quest’s recommended rank.
From the second playthrough onwards, Story Dungeon quests now give the same completion rewards as displayed.
Characters that are not logged in no longer show up on party lists.
The system message about online safety settings for children will now only be displayed once.
The controller is now disabled when transitioning to the Character Menu after the first tutorial.
The image no longer flickers after closing the Happy Cards lineup window.
Bonus items in Happy Cards now correctly display in the list.
Warping enemies no longer appear in areas inaccessible to the player.
Items now drop correctly when a Thunder Bolt hits a biopurse.
Fixed the issue where the BGM would not start after selecting “continue” from the game over screen when receiving a game over for running out of time.
